Therapy for Children
Children usually tell us when they are experiencing or have experienced trauma, depression, and anxiety through their behaviors. I use a combination of play and talk therapy techniques to assist your child in to resolve these issues. I also incorporate coping skills, social skills, and self-soothing techniques into the sessions to decrease negative behaviors.
Therapy for Adolescents
Adolescence is often a time of rebellion, experimentation, and defiance. Therapy is a safe place for young people to discover who they are in relation to the world, their family and friends, and their own sense of self. During this time they are filled with conflicting thoughts and beliefs and often need help figuring out who they are.
